About 46 dairy farmers supply 74 per cent of the total milk production of Fiji’s formal sector, says Fiji Cooperative Dairy Company Ltd (FCDCL) CEO Kushmendra Prasad.
Addressing Imbalances: To bolster milk production, Prasad emphasizes the importance of uplifting the livelihoods of the 161 farmers, considering poverty alleviation and empowerment as crucial components. The Fijian government's commitment to this cause is evident through a substantial $5.5 million budget allocation.
