Elopak, a global supplier of sustainable packaging solutions, is accelerating its growth strategy with the expansion of its production capabilities at a new U.S. facility in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Elopak Expands U.S. Production Capacity with New Plant in Arkansas
The company announced the construction of a second production line, building on the initial investment in June 2023, which amounted to approximately USD 70 million. This investment covers land, building, and state-of-the-art equipment designed to manufacture Pure-Pak cartons for liquid dairy, juices, plant-based products, and liquid eggs.

The first production line at the facility, which is expected to be operational by mid-2025, has already sold out its full production capacity, prompting the decision to add a second line. The new expansion is set to generate up to USD 110 million in additional revenue, with an incremental investment of around USD 25 million. The second line is projected to begin production in 2026.

Thomas Körmendi, CEO of Elopak, commented, "We are excited to announce the expansion of our new U.S. plant with a second production line, which will allow us to continue building on the strong demand we are experiencing. This is an important step toward achieving our long-term goal of becoming a 2-billion-euro company."

The new facility will create more than 100 permanent jobs and will leverage cutting-edge technology to meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions across the Americas. Lionel Ettedgui, Executive Vice President of North America for Elopak, highlighted the company’s strategic response to the market: "With the first production line fully sold out and demand continuing to grow, the decision to add capacity ensures we can better serve both existing and new customers while reinforcing our commitment to the U.S. market."

This expansion solidifies Elopak’s position as a key player in the U.S. packaging industry, with a focus on sustainability and innovation to meet the needs of modern consumers.
