Kyrgyzstan's Export of Milk and Cream to Uzbekistan Increased Eightfold in Seven Months of 2024

According to data from the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, from January to July 2024, the export of milk and cream to Uzbekistan significantly increased, reaching 100 tons valued at $104,000. This figure is eight times higher than the same period last year, when exports amounted to 12.6 tons worth $9,300.
In addition to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz milk and cream were also exported to Kazakhstan and Russia. During the specified period, 4,934.2 tons of milk were shipped to Kazakhstan, valued at $6.6 million, which is slightly lower compared to 6,142.1 tons worth $3.8 million last year. Exports to Russia amounted to 234.7 tons valued at $1.28 million, while there were no exports to Russia during the same period in 2023.
