Key highlights from 2023 include the establishment of groundbreaking sustainability partnerships, such as the collaboration with John Deere for the Milk Sustainability Center, aimed at revolutionizing dairy farm operations. DeLaval also conducted a comprehensive Double Materiality Assessment, reinforcing its dedication to sustainability across all aspects of its operations.

Furthermore, the company achieved significant milestones in diversity and inclusion, including meeting targets for female managers, and introduced innovative tools like the lifecycle assessment tool and a new animal welfare policy slated for implementation in 2024.
