In a substantial move, Daisy Brand intends to inject $626.5 million into constructing a 750,000 square foot facility. This investment will initially generate 106 new employment opportunities, with projections indicating a potential increase to 255 jobs as demand escalates. The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) board has greenlit $7 million in direct financial assistance alongside tax benefits for the company during its April 19 meeting.

Governor Reynolds expressed enthusiasm, stating, “Daisy Brand’s investment in Iowa further reinforces our standing as a manufacturing powerhouse and our reputation for cultivating an environment conducive to business success and expansion.”

Dallas-based Daisy Brand’s choice to expand into Iowa stems from various factors, including the state’s agricultural resources, business-friendly atmosphere, and strategic geographical location.

Debi Durham, Director of the IEDA and Iowa Finance Authority, emphasized the importance of collaboration in economic development, remarking, “This significant investment is a testament to those partnerships, one that will pay off for Boone and Iowa.”
