Canadian Government Invests Over $2 Million to Boost Organic Sector

The Canada Organic Trade Association will receive over $1.1 million to support the growth of the organic sector by addressing market access issues, ensuring the competitiveness of Canadian organic products, building export capacity, and developing domestic opportunities.
Additionally, over $900,000 will be allocated to the Prairie Organic Development Fund to advance the sector through data aggregation and benchmarking, enhancing organic supply and leadership via education, tools, and skill-building, and strengthening public trust in Canadian organics.
