The Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX), the country's premier event for dairy producers, will return on April 2–3 with a fully booked exhibition space at the Stratford Rotary Complex. With more than 300 exhibitors from 35 countries, the 2025 edition promises an unmatched showcase of global dairy innovations and on-farm solutions.

This year's CDX features expanded programming across key segments of dairy farm operations — from reproduction technologies and feeding systems to robotics, health solutions, and milk handling equipment. The event continues to serve as a critical hub for producers seeking to enhance productivity and adopt the latest technologies.

“As DLG North America and organizer of CDX, we are proud to present a truly global platform for dairy professionals,” stated Ulrike Schmidt-Machinek, Managing Director of DLG North America. “The presence of more on-farm robotics than ever before underlines CDX’s relevance in addressing today’s efficiency and sustainability challenges.”

Returning for a third year, the German Pavilion—organized by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and supported by DLG North America—will spotlight leading livestock technologies and promote EuroTier, the world’s top animal production trade show.

Among the highlights of CDX 2025 is the debut of the Hoof Trimming Corral, sponsored by Diamond Hoof Care. Located in the Innovation Hall, it will feature five companies presenting over eight designs of hoof trimming chutes. Live demonstrations at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily will emphasize the importance of hoof health in herd longevity and productivity.

The popular "Genetics in Motion" segment returns with 15 live dairy daughters from top artificial insemination sires, presented in a free-stall layout by leading Canadian genetics firms. Additionally, the “Calves for a Cause” charity auction will be held on April 2 at 7:00 PM, supporting the Children’s Health Foundation with 40 calves up for bid.

“CDX reflects the pride and purpose of the Canadian dairy sector. As global uncertainties persist, we expect record attendance in 2025. This is a moment to showcase Canadian resilience and opportunity,” said Jordon Underhill, President of CDX.

Preceding the expo, the Canadian Dairy Business Summit on April 1 will gather experts from the EU, U.S., and Canada to address legal, security, and market trends. Notably, DLG Vice President and German dairy farmer Ulrich Westrup will share insights on efficiency and sustainability practices in European dairying.

About CDX and DLG Markets North America
Founded in 2013, CDX is hosted in Stratford, Ontario, in Canada’s dairy heartland. In 2024, German Agricultural Society (DLG) acquired CDX and established DLG Markets North America to deliver technical expertise and support informed investment in the agri-food sector. The organization is also set to launch the American Dairy Expo, scheduled for November 5–6, 2025, in Vermont.
