The plant, worth 7 billion tenge, is equipped with the most modern equipment.

"Milk collected from camel farms in the region is first delivered to the processing plant. Its composition and fat content are checked here, as well as filtration, cleaning and disinfection using special equipment. Next, the pure milk is sent to the next production shop and is being prepared for the production of powder. The whole process is automated," said Hi Ji Chiyan, head of the production department.

Since the launch of the plant, more than 200 tons of dry camel milk have been produced. The products are exported to China, Macau and Hong Kong. There are three types of milk powder in the assortment: low-fat, medium-fat and a powder similar to disposable coffee in bags of 15 grams.

"In addition to China, we plan to ship finished products to Russia and Europe," said Sholpan Yerbolat, Head of Sales Department.

There are about 50 thousand camels in the Turkestan region, of which about half are dairy camels. There are five camel milk reception points and three processing plants in the region. This year, farmers produced about 800 tons of fur coat, most of which were delivered to the plant.

"Camel milk is accepted at collection points for 800-1000 tenge per liter. Last year, 309 million tenge was allocated for subsidizing livestock production, including camel milk, which provided state support to 30 agricultural producers," said Abzal Kuttybayev, head of the Department of Agriculture.
