Bangladesh: PRAN Dairy receives top taxpayer award

In a noteworthy achievement, PRAN Dairy Limited, an affiliate of PRAN-RFL Group, has been bestowed with the prestigious top taxpayer award for the fiscal year 2022-23 in the food and allied category.
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) acknowledged the significant contribution of PRAN Dairy, and the award was presented by NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem to Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Director (Accounts) of PRAN-RFL Group, during a ceremony held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) today.
Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary of Finance Division, graced the occasion as the special guest. The NBR recognized a total of 141 top taxpayers at the event, with 76 individuals, 54 companies, and 11 recipients in other categories being honored for their substantial tax contributions during the fiscal year 2022-23.
Expressing gratitude, Choudhury Atiur Rasul remarked, "Every entity within the PRAN-RFL group plays a crucial role in the country's development by consistently fulfilling VAT and tax obligations. The annual recognition from the government serves as inspiration for our ongoing commitment."
