Agriculture and Retail Representatives Received Nearly 300 Billion Rubles in Dividends
The calculations cover dividends paid in 2025 to owners and related parties in the agricultural industry, food processing, mineral fertilizer production, catering, and retail. The total amount of such payments was approximately 299.4 billion rubles.
Forbes included 75 Russians in its ranking with the largest dividend incomes. The total payouts to list participants reached 1.194 trillion rubles. The top three positions were occupied by representatives of the fuel and energy sector, followed by asset owners related to agriculture and food retail.
The highest income among all participants was received by Vagit Alekperov. His dividends from 'Lukoil' were estimated at 106.2 billion rubles. Leonid Mikhelson and Gennady Timchenko took the next places; Forbes indicated 87.1 billion and 71.5 billion rubles for them, respectively, with the payments linked to 'Sibur' and 'Novatek'.
In the 'Agriculture and Retail' sector, Igor Kesayev, the president of the 'Mercury' group and ranked fourth in the overall Forbes rating, took first place. The publication estimated the dividends received by him and related parties at 40.5 billion rubles. Forbes named the 'Mercury' group and 'Dixy Group' among the assets owned or associated with him.
In the mineral fertilizers segment, Andrey Guryev and his family led the way. Their dividends from 'PhosAgro' amounted to 22.6 billion rubles, which corresponded to the 15th position in the overall Forbes list. They were followed by Vyacheslav Kantor, associated with 'Acron', and Alexander Orekhov and Svetlana Rybalchenko, credited with dividends from the 'Azot' group.
Forbes named Pavel Demidov and his family as the largest recipients in the agricultural sector. Payments from the 'Dominant' group and the 'Cheremnovskaya' farm were estimated at 8.3 billion rubles. The list of representatives of the food industry also included Alexander Zhukov, associated with 'Vologda Ice Cream', and Alexander Evnevich and his family, owners of 'Orimi Trade' assets.
