Vet Varsity Secures Project to Enhance Dairy Farming Skills

The Department of Livestock Production Management, part of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), has recently been awarded a noteworthy project focused on Entrepreneurship Training and Skill Development in the domain of scientific dairy farming. This project, backed by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), aims to augment the skillsets of dairy farmers through hands-on experiential learning.

The initiative, titled "Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Training Programme on Scientific Dairy Farming, Value Chain Addition, and Marketing to Augment Farmers Income," will provide comprehensive training designed to enhance existing competencies in scientific dairy farming techniques. Additionally, the program will cover vital aspects of the value addition chain and effective marketing strategies, thereby empowering farmers to improve their income and sustain their agricultural ventures effectively.
