Ukraine Sees Significant Growth in Dairy Exports and Imports in April 2024

In April 2024, Ukraine witnessed a notable surge in its dairy exports, according to a statement from the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine.
The total value of foreign trade in dairy products reached $41.4 million, marking a 10.7% increase from March and a 20% rise from February. Export figures for April stood at $17.1 million, up 17.8% from March and 11% from February.
Meanwhile, imports climbed by 6.2% to $24.3 million compared to March, and saw a substantial 27.4% increase from February. Notably, the export figures in April matched those last seen in June 2023, despite a continued upward trend in import volumes, reflecting a growing demand for dairy imports.
