RCDF's Jaipur Dairy Launches Three Schemes for Women's Empowerment and CSR

The Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation (RCDF) has unveiled three significant schemes under its Jaipur Dairy banner to signify its commitment to women's empowerment and corporate social responsibility (CSR) on its 50th anniversary. The initiatives titled "Saras Mayro," the "Rooftop Solar Plant," and the "Bioflexy Plant" are aimed at benefiting milk producer members affiliated with local dairy cooperative samitis.
The "Saras Mayro" scheme highlights an empowerment effort where employees or members will receive a grant of Rs 21,000 for the marriage of their daughter, limited to two daughters per family. The "Rooftop Solar Plant" scheme aims to install 25-28 MW of solar energy plants atop 3400 Jaipur Dairy-affiliated samitis, aiming for zero energy bills and promoting environmental health. The "Bioflexy Plant" will assist in the safe disposal of organic waste and provide free cooking gas equivalent to 1.5 cylinders per household. Beneficiaries will receive a Rs 5,000 subsidy to adopt this initiative.
These schemes were inaugurated by National Commission for Women Chairman Vijaya Rahatkar and key Rajasthan government officials. Additionally, Jaipur Dairy introduced 23 new milk products to be marketed under the "Saras" brand, furthering its commitment to local enterprise development.
