Liconsa to Establish Milk Collection Center in Quintana Roo

Liconsa, a key player in Mexico's dairy industry, is set to enhance the local milk supply chain with its plan to establish a milk collection center in the community of Nicolás Bravo, located in southern Quintana Roo. This strategic move aims to bolster the dairy production in the region by collecting up to 5,000 liters of locally produced milk daily.

According to Luis Tenorio Cardona, the federal delegate of Liconsa in Quintana Roo, the project is a significant step towards strengthening the production and commercialization chain of the dairy sector in the area. "We met with producers and the leading cattlemen of the region to coordinate efforts to ensure the success of the collection center," he detailed.

The project also involves setting up strategic refrigeration centers to maintain milk in optimal conditions before it is transported to a pasteurization plant in Campeche, which is currently under construction. This initiative highlights Liconsa's commitment to supporting local dairy farmers and improving the overall dairy production infrastructure in the country.
