Lakeland Dairies boosts november milk price amidst positive market signals

In the Republic of Ireland, a base price of 36c/litre (3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein) will be paid, marking a 2c/litre increase. Additionally, qualifying farmers will receive a 3c/litre out-of-season payment.

In Northern Ireland, the base price for November milk is set at 29.25p/litre, with an increase of 2p/litre and the usual out-of-season payment of 3p/litre. This move follows a challenging year in the dairy industry, and Lakeland Dairies will continue monitoring market dynamics closely.
