Kyrgyzstan in dollar terms has reduced exports of dairy products by 44.2% since the beginning of the year, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.

Export volumes for 9 months decreased to $23.6 million (in January-September 2022: $42.3 million).

In quantitative terms, supplies of dairy products abroad decreased by 16.6% - to 21.2 thousand tons.

It was previously reported that as of November 1, 2023, Kyrgyzstan produced 1 million 540 thousand 297.9 tons of raw milk. As of the same date last year, the volume of milk production in the republic was 1 million 503 thousand 489.2 tons. This year, an increase in production is observed by 36.8 thousand tons of milk.

Kazakhstani ice cream producers ended the warm season with a historical high. From May to September 2023, according to the Bureau of National Statistics (BNS), the country produced more than 46 thousand tons of ice cream and edible ice. This is 32.6% more than in the same period last year. Today, the share of domestic ice cream on the market is more than 80%.
