Kyrgyzstan reduced imports of dairy products from the EAEU by 16%

Kyrgyzstan reduced imports of dairy products from the EAEU countries in January-November 2023 by 16%, reports the National Statistics Committee.

Over the 11 months of 2023, dairy products from the EAEU countries worth $17.6 million were supplied to the Kyrgyz market. The reduction was 16.1%.
The volume of imported dairy products to Kyrgyzstan was:
- milk and uncondensed cream - $2.5 million (-32.2%);
- yogurt, kefir - $2.1 million (-15.5%);
- cheeses and cottage cheese - $1.4 million (-8.6%);
- whey - $1.3 million (+55.7%);
- milk and cream, condensed and dry - $0.7 million (+7%);
- butter - 7.8 thousand dollars (-91.2%).
Supplies in quantitative terms decreased by 14% - to 8 thousand tons.
The volume of imported dairy products to Kyrgyzstan was:
