China holds courses for Central Asian farmers

According to expert from Uzbekistan Anvar Israilov, these courses provide foreign course participants with the opportunity to become familiar with advanced technologies in the field of selection of grains, fruits and livestock. In addition, the courses will provide experts with a better understanding of the agricultural trade situation between China and Central Asia, which will help them be proactive in developing new and superior crop varieties in the future.
Farmers from Tajikistan also shared their impressions of the training.
“Many of my questions were resolved within the framework of these courses. I think that there are many aspects: from farm maintenance to agricultural processing, in which our country can learn from China and cooperate with it,” said Asadullo Isoev from Tajikistan.
Fu Hongqi, deputy head of the Science and Technology School of Weinan Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry, noted that as one of the measures to implement the results of the China-Central Asia summit, this event was organized and held taking into account the real needs of “students” from Central Asia. He also expressed hope that in the future their college will invite more professional farmers from Central Asia to Weinan to exchange experiences in this area.
