Hans Hettinga, member of the Supervisory Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. has passed away

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Hans Hettinga has passed away after a short illness on 4 May 2024.
Hans Hettinga was a member of the Board of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A. and a member of the Supervisory Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. He was 65 years old.
Hans Hettinga was a highly respected board member and Supervisory Board member. We will remember Hans Hettinga as a reliable, intelligent and personally committed board member, whose legacy lives on in the cooperative and company and in the community in which he was also fully active.
His dedication to the cooperative and enterprise was invaluable. From 1998 to 2011, he was a member of the Members' Council , the last six years of which he served as chairman of the South West Friesland district. Since 20 December 2016, he had been a member of the Board and the Supervisory Board, including as a member of the Remuneration, Nomination and Governance Committee. As a member dairy farmer, Hans Hettinga owned a dairy farm in It Heidenskip, Friesland, together with his brother.
Our sympathy goes out to his family. We wish them strength in coping with this great loss.
