Al Ain Farms Group and FoodIQ join forces to introduce innovative food manufacturing technology to the UAE, emphasizing local production of clean-label, high-protein foods.
Al Ain Farms Group (AAFG), the UAE's largest national provider of protein and beverages, has entered into a strategic partnership with Finnish food-tech company FoodIQ. This agreement marks AAFG's first major public milestone and aims to implement FoodIQ’s patented Multi-Layer Cooker (MLC) technology on an industrial scale outside Finland for the first time. The technology facilitates flexible-batch production of various high-viscosity recipes such as yogurt, plant-based milk, and protein smoothies, all while preserving nutritional value with no additives and minimal energy and water use. According to Hassan Safi, CEO of AAFG, this collaboration will meet rising consumer demand for healthier food choices and positions the UAE as a pioneer in food-tech adoption.
