Siberian Ice Cream Exports Nearly Triple

Siberian ice cream producers significantly increased their exports to China in 2024, the Siberian Customs Administration (SCA) reported. Exports grew almost threefold. Significant growth was also observed in shipments to Abkhazia (1.5 times) and Kyrgyzstan (1.8 times).

Kazakhstan remains the largest importer of Siberian ice cream. The top five buyers also include Mongolia, Belarus, China, and Azerbaijan.
The total export volume of ice cream and food ice from Siberia in 2024 exceeded 4,200 tons, valued at approximately 1.5 billion rubles. Shipments were made to 12 countries near and far abroad.
Novosibirsk producers exported ice cream to Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Armenia for the first time in 2024. The main export items were vanilla ice cream with various additives (nuts, salted caramel, chocolate, berries), popsicles, and ice cream cones. Omsk Oblast was the leader in ice cream exports among Siberian regions.
