AVM and UDE Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The Association of Milk Producers (AVM) and the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine (UDE) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to coordinate efforts and promote the interests of Ukraine's dairy sector in matters of European integration.
Recognizing the important role of European integration in the development and strengthening of Ukraine's dairy industry, the parties agreed to:
Combine expert potential to form and promote a common position on key issues of agricultural sector integration, primarily in the dairy industry.
Facilitate the development and improvement of regulatory frameworks in the sphere of European integration.
Unite and coordinate efforts in representing and promoting the Ukrainian dairy industry.
Protect the interests of AVM and UDE member enterprises.
Specifically, AVM and UDE agreed to collaborate within the previously established Eurointegration Committee on the development, implementation, and monitoring of the results of the Roadmap for the European Integration of Ukraine's Dairy Industry.
“The goal of the Roadmap is to maximally facilitate the adaptation of Ukraine's dairy sector and its participants to the requirements of the European Union, while considering and promoting the interests of domestic producers,” noted AVM General Director Hanna Lavrenyuk.
