According to the decision of the Association of Milk Producers Council, AVM expresses its support for the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi and emphasizes the necessity of preserving the specialized Ministry.
During the tenure of the current Minister at the helm of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, representatives of the dairy farming industry have not raised any concerns regarding the systematic and professional work of the Ministry. Experts and participants of AVM have always had a quality dialogue and transparent discussion with the Ministry on all important issues for the industry. Despite disagreements regarding the position on the land market, the Ministry has worked professionally and in coordination with agricultural producers and AVM participants in particular.
Together, we have worked on legislative initiatives to develop the agricultural sector and jointly addressed the difficult circumstances faced by agricultural producers due to the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Together, we defend the position of Ukrainian producers to continue exports and the effective operation of "solidarity paths." We find constructive solutions for enterprises in the de-occupied territories.
The work of the Ministry is now more challenging and responsible than ever and requires strengthening and support to represent the interests of the industry and assist agrarians in Ukraine and internationally.
! We emphasize that due to the upcoming negotiation process between Ukraine and the EU, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy faces complex tasks and challenges in terms of implementing European legislation and requires the continuation of the professional work of the Ministry's team. Therefore, the Association of Milk Producers, together with leading agrarian associations, advocates for the preservation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and strengthening the representation of the agricultural sector on the path to European integration and Ukraine's membership in the EU for the effective operation of the key industry for the state's economy.
