Borderway UK Dairy Expo
For the first time, Borderway UK Dairy Expo will showcase not only the best dairy cattle, but also the next generation of the UK’s finest judging talent.
A panel of eight young dairy industry leaders have taken up the challenge of judging the very best of the UK’s most valuable dairy cattle at Borderway UK Dairy Expo in Carlisle on 14th and 15th March 2025.
Borderway UK Dairy Expo organisers Harrison & Hetherington created the premium dairy show in 2012, primarily to shine a spotlight on cattle and dairy farmers, driving the industry forward into the future.
With representatives from across the UK and Ireland attending, the 2025 event will provide a platform for each judge to showcase their knowledge, skills and ability to sel ect winners fr om a line-up of outstanding animals.
Harrison & Hetherington Dairy sales manager and Dairy Expo organiser Glyn Lucas says this year’s judging panel represents the future stars of the UK dairy industry. “This is the first time we have had exclusively homegrown talent judge at Dairy Expo and they are the best in the business. At least four of our judges have been at every show since the show’s inception in 2012 and over the past 12 years they have collectively either owned or trained 62 class winners at UK Dairy Expo, including 18 Grand Champions, six Junior Champions and three Supreme Champions.”
