Ravinder Balain serves as the Country President for Cargill in India, where he is responsible for overseeing all of the company's business operations within the country. In addition to his role as Country President, he continues to hold the position of Senior Managing Director for the Animal Nutrition & Health business in South Asia, a testament to his extensive experience and expertise in the industry.
In his expanded role, Balain is focused on ensuring business continuity, achieving operational integration, and positioning Cargill strategically in the long-term market landscape. One of the significant projects under his leadership includes the establishment of a new plant with a production capacity of 4 lakh tonnes per annum. This investment is expected to improve supply reliability and enhance farm profitability for dairy farmers, while also contributing to local employment by creating 1000 jobs directly and indirectly.
