Jenny Jago: Championing Calf Rearing in the Dairy Industry

Jenny Jago, DairyNZ’s Science Partnerships and Impact Advisor, said the organization had focused during the review on recognising farmers’ commitment to animal welfare. She noted that DairyNZ had consistently supported strong welfare standards because they were important to New Zealand’s standing as a supplier of milk described as premium, sustainable, and ethically produced.
