Charlie Sawle: Rising Young Dairy Farmer

Charlie Sawle, a 13-year-old from St Agnes on Cornwalls north coast, has embarked on an impressive journey by starting his own dairy business. Despite his familys background in beef farming, Charlie has always had a keen interest in dairy farming. His passion for cattle was evident from a young age, as he showcased his first calf at the Stithians Show when he was only six years old.

Determined to pursue his dream, Charlie dedicated three years to save enough money to buy his first Jersey cow, Clare, who was born in April 2023. Demonstrating remarkable dedication, Charlie milks Clare once daily, after school, on weekdays.
