University of San Diego
The University of San Diego is actively involved in an international scientific collaboration with the Human Diets & Microbiome Initiative. This project aims to map and understand the intestinal microbiota across different geographical regions. As part of this effort, the University is contributing to a comparative study that involves analyzing microbiota samples from the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, and Mexico.
Through this collaboration, the University of San Diego is participating in a significant global scientific endeavor, which seeks to enhance our understanding of how dietary habits influence gut microbiota and, subsequently, human health.
