The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India (NCDFI) is a pivotal organization within the Indian dairy industry. It acts as a collective body for 117 member cooperatives, ensuring the effective supply and distribution of milk across various platforms in India.

Partnership with the Indian Army

Since 1984, the NCDFI has maintained a strategic partnership with the Indian Army. This collaboration focuses on the procurement of dairy products, highlighting the federation's ability to manage large-scale supply operations efficiently. This partnership ensures that the nutritional needs of the armed forces are consistently met.

Procurement Plans for 2025-26

Looking ahead, the NCDFI has outlined its procurement plans for the fiscal year 2025-26. The plans include the provision of 18.48 crore litres of fresh liquid milk and 4.11 crore litres of ultra-high-temperature (UHT) milk. These initiatives demonstrate the federation's commitment to sustaining a steady and reliable supply of dairy products, aligning with its operational capabilities and strategic foresight in addressing large institutional needs.
