Competition Commission of India
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is a statutory body responsible for enforcing The Competition Act, 2002 throughout India and preventing activities that have an adverse effect on competition in India. It is the organization where Bamul filed a complaint concerning Flipkart's pricing strategy, seeking regulatory intervention. The CCI plays a critical role in maintaining fair competition and ensuring that business practices do not harm consumer interests or disrupt market balance.
