Center for Dairy Research
The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) is an integral part of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, committed to supporting and advancing the U.S. dairy industry. Collaborations and Programs
The CDR is a member of the Dairy Business Innovation Alliance and works closely with the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association. Together, they distribute grants aimed at encouraging innovation in the dairy industry. Additionally, the CDR administers an online Certificate in Dairy Processing, covering essential topics such as dairy microbiology, milk composition, sanitation, pasteurization, equipment mechanics, cheesemaking, and butter production.
