Cargill Animal Nutrition & Health, a leading entity in the animal nutrition sector, has made significant strides in expanding its global operations. The company has recently completed a major expansion of its facility in Engerwitzdorf, enhancing its production capacity by an impressive 50%. This development brings the annual capacity to 30,000 metric tons. The expansion is part of Cargill's Micronutrition & Health Solutions business, which is renowned for its innovative work in phytogenics, postbiotics, enzymes, and anti-mycotoxin agents. This division benefits from the combined expertise of Diamond V, Delacon, and Provimi, reinforcing Cargill's comprehensive approach to animal nutrition and health.

New Dairy-Feed Manufacturing Plant in Punjab

In addition to the expansion in Engerwitzdorf, Cargill has inaugurated a new dairy-feed manufacturing plant in Wazirabad, Punjab. This facility represents a substantial investment of Rs 300 crore and is the largest of its kind in South Asia for the company. The plant is designed to produce 400,000 metric tonnes of feed annually, catering to young animals and milking cows. It is expected to create over 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, utilizing automated systems and advanced manufacturing technologies to ensure high-quality production.
