Wendy Chang Smith: New CFO of Glanbia

Wendy Chang Smith has been appointed as the chief financial officer (CFO) of Glanbia, effective March 31, 2027. This appointment marks a significant step in her career within the company, where she currently serves as the chief digital and transformation officer.

Smith joined Glanbia in 2020 and has since been a pivotal part of the organization, previously serving as the finance chief for Glanbia’s performance-nutrition business. Her extensive experience in senior finance positions is underscored by her previous roles at major companies such as Amazon, Kellogg, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble.

Wendy Chang Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and an MBA in finance from Brigham Young University in the United States, bringing a strong educational background to her new role as CFO. Her appointment follows the tenure of Mark Garvey, whom she succeeds in this leadership position.
