Stephen Allen is set to retire from his role as chairman of Tatua Co-operative, concluding a remarkable 30-year affiliation with the company. His journey with Tatua began in 1996 when he joined the board, quickly ascending to the position of deputy chair in 1997. In 2003, Allen took over the reins as chairman, succeeding Sir Alan Frampton.
Throughout his leadership, Allen has worked alongside three chief executives: Dr. Michael Matthews, Paul McGilvary, and the current CEO, Brendhan Greaney.
