Sarah Tomlinson: A Leading Figure in the Dairy Industry

Sarah Tomlinson has been honored with the title of Dairy Industry Woman of the Year for 2026, acknowledging her significant contributions to the field. A former recipient of the Dairy Vet of the Year award, Tomlinson continues to impact the industry through her expertise and leadership.

Currently, she serves as a lead veterinary science expert at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB). Her role extends beyond her primary position, as she chairs the bTB Hub Working Group, and is actively involved in strategic groups focused on tackling bovine tuberculosis. These include England’s TB Eradication and Advisory Group and the Welsh TB Technical Advisory Group.

In addition to her work on tuberculosis, Sarah Tomlinson leads the GB Calf Strategy Industry Working Group, where she contributes to the development and implementation of strategies to improve calf health and management across Great Britain.
