Marzia: A Dedicated Dairy Producer
Marzia is a resident of Yaka Bagh village, where she lives with her disabled husband and four children. She has carved out a niche for herself in the local dairy industry by producing and selling homemade dairy products. Her daily routine reflects her commitment to supporting her family despite rising costs.
Every day, Marzia starts by milking her cow, after which she prepares yoghurt, cheese, and cream. These products are then taken to the local market in Shiberghan, where she sells them. Through her hard work and dedication, Marzia earns between 5,000 and 10,000 afghanis each month. Her efforts not only support her family financially but also contribute to the local economy.
