John Dunne: A Journey in Dairy Farming

John Dunne is a dedicated dairy farmer who has significantly expanded his agricultural operations over the years. Together with his wife, Noreen, and their son, Billy, John now oversees the milking of 250 cows. This impressive growth marks a substantial increase from just over a decade ago when the family was milking approximately 75 cows in a 12-unit parlour.

The expansion of the Dunne family farm began when the opportunity arose to lease an adjoining block of tillage land. This strategic decision allowed the family to increase their herd size and improve their dairy production capabilities.
