Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Environmental Science from the University of Chicago. He went on to complete his Master of Science degree in Brewing and Distilling, as well as a PhD in International Marketing and Business Economics from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
