Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation

The Pune District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation, a key organization in the dairy sector, has taken a significant step to support local farmers. Effective from September 11, the federation will pay farmers Re 1 more per litre for both cow and buffalo milk. This adjustment applies to milk supplied by farmers through the district cooperative collection centres.

The decision to increase the purchase rate aims to provide relief to farmers as they face rising production and distribution expenses. This adjustment reflects the federation's commitment to ensuring fair compensation for the agricultural community contributing to the dairy supply chain.
