Danfoss

Danfoss is a prominent manufacturer in the field of refrigeration-management controllers. The company has been recognized for its innovative technology solutions that cater to the needs of various industries requiring temperature regulation and management.

Products and Legacy

Danfoss has developed a range of refrigeration-management controllers, including the AK-SM 800 units. This line has been significant in the industry, offering reliable control and management of refrigeration systems. However, manufacturer support for these legacy AK-SM 800 units ended in 2021, marking a shift in the company’s product strategy. Additionally, Danfoss has offered the AK-SM 800A units, which run on older firmware, providing continuity for users who have yet to transition to newer systems.

Important Events

The discontinuation of support for the AK-SM 800 units in 2021 was a pivotal moment for Danfoss, as it necessitated a shift towards more modern solutions and the potential development of new product lines to meet evolving market demands.
