Facility Upgrades
The comprehensive upgrade includes the installation of eight 55,000-pound cheese vats and six 40-pound cheese block formers. These additions significantly boost the plant's production capabilities, allowing for increased output and efficiency. Furthermore, the plant now features two new high-efficiency whey separators and clarifiers, which are essential for supporting the enhanced production volume.
Environmental Sustainability
A noteworthy aspect of the modernization is the focus on environmental sustainability. Dairy State Cheese has allocated $21 million towards advanced wastewater treatment systems.
