One of the notable recent events involving ANVISA is the renewal of registrations for Danone's specialized nutrition formulas. This renewal was formalized through Resolution-RE No. 2,286, issued by ANVISA's General Food Management on June 3, 2026. This decision is significant for Danone as it ensures the continued availability of their specialized nutrition products in the Brazilian market, supporting the health needs of the Brazilian population.

Regulatory Initiatives

In its efforts to enhance consumer awareness and safety, ANVISA introduced RDC No. 429/2020 and Normative Instruction No. 75/2020.
