Vladimir Labinov: The situation with the supply of milk to the Olonetsky dairy plant and Slavmo has been settled
The head of the regional department previously noted that not a single dairy plant in the republic has a brand recognizable outside the territory of Karelia.
According to Vladimir Labinov, this issue lies solely in the level of development of the marketing service of enterprises, since interest alone is not enough to take a strong position in the market:
‘It is not enough to strive for this. This requires knowledge, competencies, technical equipment, serious costs and much more. Marketing is generally a costly topic.’
Nevertheless, the situation was resolved, and the supply of raw milk to enterprises was resumed:
‘We have agreed protocols on a significant upward price change. We have removed a number of discriminatory conditions in contracts and have reached a different level of work with prices. There is another positive point: if we were declarative partners before, now we will be partners in practice, I hope,’ Vladimir Labinov stressed.
