Valio has invested 178 million rubles in preparing its own plant for labeling

The company noted that at present, a two-dimensional matrix code of the "Honest Mark" system is applied in the test mode to a number of products produced at the plant. The press service of LLC Valio assured that the codes are currently informational in nature, but by June 1, all the adjustment processes will be completed, and the plant will be ready to operate in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

According to the representative of the company, the installation of equipment and related work were carried out as part of a large-scale investment project, the purpose of which was to increase the automation of processes, modernization, and expansion of the production capacity of a number of lines. The total investment volume, which includes all the work, amounted to 178 million rubles.

‘We will strive to neutralize the impact of labeling on the price of the final product, but we cannot exclude this possibility at this stage, since the issue of price regulation depends on many factors,’ concluded in the press service.
