Tommoloko from Belgorod region plans to increase capacity 1.6 times by 2023 due to the modernization of production

CJSC Tommoloko (part of GC Tommoloko, Belgorod region) is modernizing production, which will increase the capacity of the enterprise 1.6 times until the end of 2022, reported Technical Director of the company Vladimir Stativko to Interfax.

‘The estimated capacity after modernization will increase from the current 150-170 tons of milk processing per day to 270 tons. At the same time, labor productivity should increase by 30%,’ Stativko said.

The company will receive a soft loan for modernization in the amount of 300 million rubles from the Industrial Development Fund within the framework of the national project "Labor productivity and employment support". We are talking about a loan at a rate of 1% per annum for five years.

The total amount of investment in the modernization is not disclosed.

‘We had the last reconstruction in 2007, since then the equipment is obsolete. Now we plan to switch from manual labor to automated production as much as possible,’ said the Technical Director.

He added that the released labor resources will be used at other production facilities of the group of companies Tommoloko.

‘In addition to the main production, we have our own crop and livestock production, the self-sufficiency with own raw materials is about 60%. In addition, it is planned to expand the line of curd group and soft cheese group. The modernization project is socially oriented, all employees are offered employment,’ Stativko said.

According to him, the modernization of production facilities in the company began in June 2020. Now the repair of buildings is in full swing, then the equipment for the production of the entire line of dairy products will be updated.

As reported, the revenue of the company in 2019 amounted to 2.3 billion rubles (an increase of 20.2%), net profit - 194 million rubles, which is 19.3% more than a year earlier.

CJSC Tommoloko was registered in 1992 on the basis of Tomarovsky cheese and butter plant, built in 1953. The company produces more than 50 types of milk and dairy products under the trademarks "Tommoloko" and "Molochnaya Polyana". JSC is included into group of companies Tommoloko, which also includes the divisions of crop and livestock production: LLC Butovo-Agro and LLC Mikhailovskoe.
