According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of November 8, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 48.17 thousand tons, which is 2.7% (1.25 thousand tons) more than in the same period last year, reported in the press service of the department to The DairyNews.

The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow regions and in the Udmurt Republic.

The average milk yield per cow per day amounted to 17.65 kg, which is 0.94 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Krasnodar regions, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Karelia. In these regions, more than 20 kg of milk per cow was received.
