The volume of milk sales in agricultural organizations increased by 3.5%

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of March 22, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.68 thousand tons, which is 3.5% (1.69 thousand tons) more than in the same period last year, reported in the press service of the department to The DairyNews.
The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow regions and the Udmurt Republic.
The average milk yield per cow per day was 18.1 kg, which is 0.84 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions in this indicator are Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Penza, Lipetsk, Tula, Vladimir, Kirov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Vologda, Voronezh, Ryazan, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Krasnodar regions, the Republics of Karelia, Crimea and Udmurtia. In these regions, more than 20 kg of milk per cow was obtained.
