The revenue of agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan from the sale of milk amounted to 28 billion rubles
The revenue of agricultural enterprises for 11 months amounted to about 107 billion rubles, an increase of 12%. The livestock sector accounts for 63% - 67.3 billion rubles. Including from the sale of milk – 28 billion rubles, livestock and poultry meat - 34.6 billion rubles. In total, 1 million 296 thousand tons of milk (an increase of 5%), 376 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat (an increase of 3%) were produced for 11 months of 2020.
As of December 1, the number of cattle in the republic amounted to 689 thousand heads. By the same period in 2019, the number of livestock decreased by 18 thousand heads. The reason is the improvement of the dairy herd and the renewal of the livestock to more productive.
The construction of dairy complexes continues in the republic. In 2020, 16 facilities for 6.5 thousand head were put into operation. In 2021-2022, the implementation of 19 investment projects for 23 thousand head will continue and the construction of 10 new dairy complexes for 9 thousand head is planned.
Separately, the minister reported on the production of milk. Daily agricultural enterprises of the republic produce more than 3,600 tons of milk, which is 5% more than in 2019. The milk yield per cow is 16.6 kg. The daily revenue of agricultural producers of the republic from the sale of milk is over 95 million rubles - an increase of 12%. In December, milk sales are expected to generate revenue of 2.8 billion rubles. As of December 23, the sale price of milk was 30 rubles 25 kopecks per 1 kg including VAT - this is the highest purchase price in the Volga Federal District.
