The production capacity of the dairy complex EkoNiva in Tatarstan will be 100 tons of milk per day. This became known during a visit of Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov to the facility under construction, reported in the press service of the group of companies to The DairyNews.

Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited Bugulma municipal district. During the working visit, he, together with Head of the district Linar Zakirov, got acquainted with the construction of the livestock complex Naratly of the EkoNiva group. The guests were accompanied by President of the agricultural holding Stefan Durr.

The project implemented by the company "Severnaya Niva Tatarstan" is designed for 3,550 cows and 5,100 units of young cattle of dairy breeds. The complex also includes four cowsheds, calf barns, grounds for keeping young animals, a feed warehouse and a sanitary inspection room.

Investments in the construction of the livestock complex Naratli will exceed 4 billion rubles after its completion. The production capacity of the complex will be 100 tons of milk per day.

Currently, the milking equipment of Carousel type is installed at the complex Naratli. The device is a circular platform on a concrete base that allows 72 cows to be milked at the same time. The process of milking animals is as comfortable as possible. The cow enters the milking parlour and occupies a separate stall. The milkmaid treats the udder with special disinfectants and installs a milking machine. Milking a cow takes place in one full circle of the "Carousel". After each animal, the milking machine is sterilized automatically, without any human intervention.

Pregnant heifers are already being imported to the complex to complete the farm. Most of them are from the breeding farms of the EkoNiva group in Voronezh region, but also from Germany. Specialized programs are provided for the management of the herd and its feeding at the complex. Identification of animals takes place by reading tags with unified numbers.
