The price index of the Global Dairy Trade for dairy products increased by 4.3%
The weighted average price for dairy products at 273rd GDT auctions was 3,261 USD / kg. Taking into account the strengthening of the ruble against the dollar compared to the previous auction, the weighted average price of dairy products in the Russian currency increased by 2.5% to 242.8 rubles/kg, which is 11.45% higher than at the beginning of December in 2019.
In total, 32,062 tons of dairy products were sold at the auction, which is 3.2 thousand tons less than at the previous auction. The number of bidders is 178.
At the auction, the prices of butter (+3.8%), whole milk powder (+5%), skimmed milk powder (+3.6%), dehydrated milk fat (+2.6%), cheddar (+2.4%), buttermilk (+1.3%) and lactose (+13.5%) increased.
